She didn’t have the easiest time getting there, but we’re thrilled that Salsa has a new forever home.

Salsa is one of five registered Paint horses surrendered to Willow Branch Horse Haven about four years ago. All five horses were surrendered when the owners couldn’t keep them any longer. The whole group had been pasture pets, and unfortunately, were never trained.

Willow Branch sponsored Salsa to be trained by Nick Donohue, and she has blossomed. She is now an excellent riding horse who will benefit from continued work using Buck Brannaman training methods.
